One of our yearly spotlight events is a club-travel to Nuits-Saint-Georges in France. Nuits-Saint-Georges is situated in the middle of the Bourgondian area of France. Well known for its wine and perfect French food. Plenty of high-class restaurants, wine degustation sites and ... the beautiful nature around the place. So, you can guess it... Staying in a beautifull restored abbey (castle) we spend the time during our one week stay with sleeping, dreaming, eating, flying, drinking again, eating again and so on. No working, no sorrow, just enjoying all the best a pilot can dream. The owner of the abbey is also the president of the local airfield (LFGZ), which is located on his terrain. Since more than 10 years we are invited to enjoy some days on this location. Last year we celebrated our first decennium of LFGZ-visits. Browsing through my enclosed albums of our last visits I would like to give you the following comment. DO NOT think that the lifestyle you discover in this albums is representative for a normal Pilot's lifestyle. This kind of decandence flavour is really a composition of highlights during a once-a-year 5 day long stay in the middle of the best region Europe offers... Enjoy it ...
